Salaam Dear Ones,
I had a little belly ache last night and it got worse and worse. By the time I went to bed I felt like I had a brick in my belly, and in the middle of the night I had to spring from my bed and race to the bathroom, barely making it before I woke up Peebo and Katia with my hideous wretching. I must have picked up some little bug yesterday. Maybe it was meeting all those people. Maybe I was a little run down because I hadn't slept well the night before, being too excited to really rest. Anyway, I had to call in sick today, on my second day of work, which is frankly pretty embarrassing. I feel better now, although kind of weak, and I'm hoping to be able to go back to work tomorrow.
This will give me time to work on copy for the website. I also just finished a most amazing book "And There Was Light" by Jacques Lusseyran. He was blinded at the age of 8 and yet organized the French Resistance when he was 17. It's an incredible story of seeing the light within, and that being his guide. He was captured and put in Buchenwald for a year and a half, which he survived. Just an incredible story, full of spiritual wisdom. I recommend it to everyone.
So anyway....the pendulum swings.
Sending lots of love and light (smile)
